We introduce the email bulletin "New-Method" with our works and guest contributions. This issue No. 43 features Haruka Ito, an art producer who has organized various art projects as the director of island JAPAN co., Ltd.

It remains as it is.
They just keep repeating and juxtaposing words in tautological fashion.
A is A, B is B, and C is C.
Their First New-Methodicist Manifesto (*1) still had subjects and predicates so that their words loop back in a circle.  However, already in their Second New-Methodicist Manifesto, they just let everything go.
Is it an expression out of the contemporary society trapped smoothly in infinite loops?
Today it is very difficult to state anything loudly, and in such an impotent society everyone individually expresses something for nowhere, while believing it reaches somewhere else.  Still, they are all thrown into the sea of chaos, apparently unable to make a ripple in its aggregated flat surface.
Yet, they mobilize their bodies to this single goal, almost like well-disciplined soldiers, which cannot help but remind me that Japan as it is today is given as the only way.
They express nothing but the fact that they embody New-Methodicism.  I want to respect this consciously expressed message.
I wish their "perpetual motion machine of play" infinitely extends toward the universe.

In the previous work, I dealt with dynamic change of numbers varied by the scroll position.
This work deals with dynamic variation of the five layers of symbols that compose a logical space.

I randomly arranged 1x1 pixel black and white jpeg images. The arrangement may suggest certain laws or meanings, but there is no specific intention. I could have utilized those black and white images to create something more meaningful, such as Morse code patterns or ASCII art-like works, but I wanted to make something without trying to make it, which resulted in this plausible piece.
